yea, like don't get me wrong, i love worldbuilding and its not like MH didn't have any plot before, but keeping it flavor text and interactions is how i would've preferred it too. Now that my own character is voice acted in story adds an extra layer of dissonance for me (imo)

to add to this, i've noticed people irl don't seem to respect digital art the same as tradtional art (fair) like they don't "get it", so in a way i don't feel like an artist at all offline
