Their same polling says voters trust R *more* on "The Economy", "Inflation," and "Government Spending", and see R as equal to D in "Political Division". If that isn't testament to how messaging trumps reality, I don't know what is

Hey I'm in #scicomm, not a SFC user, and wanted to give you some friendly feedback. Including an image with your post gets atention, but the AI art doesn't add anything, and wastes the time of anyone trying to parse the equipment. Would have preferred a useful image like this one (yours):

this study was in NONHUMAN PRIMATES - specifically, the olive baboon, an omnivorous forager
“Maternal Western diet increases inflammatory markers and decreases barrier function of offspring in Papio anubis.” doi.org/10.1152/ajpg... 🧪
this is misleading #scicomm - maybe use this pic instead!

StackOverflow now has a chatbot powered by OpenAI
stackoverflow.ai
Looks like this is RAG using StackOverflow's answers, so, basically
"Try to get all your answers from Stack Overflow, but if you can't find anything, make something up"
So here it is hallucinating a Python sea shanty library!

Imagine you're walking in Texas, when you glimpse what looks like a black-faced Steller's Jay.
But there's no crest. And Steller's Jays only live west of the Rockies!
What gives??
Turns out that the ranges of Blue Jays and Green Jays now overlap in Texas, and they've made black-faced hybrids: 🧪

Albania is making its #ai chatbot the minister of public procurement.
This is Diella, the friendly face of the Albanian government's web portal. Albania had a cabinet shuffle yesterday and apparently Diella (means "Sun") is in charge of public procurement now. www.panorama.com.al/diella-aneta...

Love the amoeba-like nature of macrophages. Amoebocytes are the last common ancestor of multicellular animals, and macrophages bring that energy to the party. This paper is an in-depth look at the long, branching pseudopods macrophages make to engulf bacteria. Check these stretchy bois out! 🧪

In a blog post titled "Helping people when they need it most", OpenAI admits that its safeguards fail if you talk to ChatGPT for long enough.
yes, that's it - no "hacking" or prompt engineering required to get around the safeguards - just keep talking to it
