I spent a week in Sweden over the summer, visiting family. It was also a lovely opportunity to see some wildlife, including beavers, insects and this lovely adder.

Where I live, we don't get rose chafers (Cetonia aurata), so it was a delight to see them in abundance while visiting Sweden recently.

As you can see from the reference photo, their painting brings out the beauty of the roses beyond what my photograph could.
