Last night, communities elected new leaders who are committed to fighting the climate crisis, ensuring clean drinking water, and cutting costs for families. We’re looking forward to working with them to reach those goals.

Last year, President Trump promised oil CEOs that he’d cut environmental protections in exchange for $1 billion in campaign contributions. Now, he’s following through with his plans to repeal essential power plant rules. Tell the EPA to put people first: action.nrdc.org/letter/4099-...

Before his election, Donald Trump promised oil executives that he would roll back clean energy policies for $1 billion in campaign contributions. Today, he followed through.

The rich will get richer as the rest of us deal with higher bills and more pollution.

California has been leading the way on car pollution standards for decades. Big Oil spent millions to skirt the filibuster and stop California from providing clean vehicle options. This is a direct attack on the state’s legal autonomy and will have a ripple effect across the country.

This reconciliation bill will benefit polluters, not everyday Americans who want to live free from pollution and afford their energy bills. @reptroycarter.bsky.social: “It doesn't sound like a level playing field."

@repfletcher.bsky.social: While corporations would be able to pay for a polluting permit, the true cost would be paid by people whose health will suffer.

The U.S. is already the world’s leading producer and exporter of oil and gas. @usrepkathycastor.bsky.social makes it clear that more exports will only raise energy bills for U.S. consumers and enrich fossil fuel companies.

When polluters go unchecked, frontline communities get hit the hardest. @aoc.bsky.social is fighting to put people’s lives first.

Whether it’s expanding solar and wind power, restoring clean air and water, or working low-carbon jobs in health care and education, it’s working people who are making it happen.

We are witnessing some of the worst assaults on the environment in American history. Now, more than ever, we must stand together and defend our only home and all those who depend on it.

All working people deserve high-road jobs and a safe workplace—clean energy workers in the South are no exception.

Some in Congress want to sell off our public lands to pay for tax handouts for the ultra-wealthy. Senator Hickenlooper said it loud and clear: "Our public lands are not for sale."

We're with him, and with every American who values our parks, forests, and open spaces.

President Trump does not have the authority to dissolve government agencies and departments or purge massive swaths of the federal workforce. This is chaos. Leaders of the Republican majority need to stand up and enforce checks and balances.

The KXL pipeline would carry the dirtiest fossil fuel out there—tar sands oil, which has been linked to cancer, wildlife destruction, and toxic waste. By joining together as we have twice before, we can defeat this dirty pipeline again and keep this zombie dead.

Donald Trump’s first administration was the worst in history on climate issues. If he tries to do more of the same, we’re ready to fight back. We can’t give up, and we won’t stop our work.

Today, Donald Trump’s electoral college victory was certified. In two weeks, he’ll take the oath of office. His first administration was a disaster for our planet. No matter what they try to do this time, we’ll be ready.
