I was so surprised how quick it was. Within 10 minutes we saw Bendire’s and sage. Both new lifers for me! I have to go back for LeConte and Crissal.

Great spot! I agree with your first instinct. I believe that the Eurasian sparrow hawk, even when juvenile, will have a much more scaly/horizontally marked chest.
