Because I see what's happening now. I'm compassionate for those who are dying and getting their lives destroyed, not with those who, for better or worse, allowed it to happen.

And yes, that included democrats.
March 20, 2025 at 9:38 PM
No. That you had thought Trump would stop the genocide was the fantasy.
Unless you were hoping she's win anyway, but could claim it wasn't with your vote.
If that was so, it didn't work too well, did it?
March 20, 2025 at 9:36 PM
I know, I get that. I didn't say it was easy.
But move back in time to before the election. Does anyone really think Trump will be better for Palestine than Harris? Truly, engage in this exercise with me, honestly. Of course not.
"Biden was bad, Trump will be worse, so I won't vote for Harris"??
March 20, 2025 at 9:34 PM
As important of an issue as it is, if you vote or don't vote for someone solely because of their stance on said genocide, it is a single issue.

Again, it didn't get better, it only got worse, both there, and in other places.
March 20, 2025 at 9:31 PM
Actually, I didn't vote for any of them, but only because I can't.
Did you also not vote for them in the senate and the house because you were mad at Biden for keeping the same policy every other POTUS before him had?
March 20, 2025 at 9:29 PM
Maybe it's my English that's not as good as I thought, or maybe you have difficult reading.
In case of doubt, I suggest you had voted for the party more likely yo win that would also be more likely to be persuaded to stop the genocide, instead of helping elect the one who would ramp up the genocide.
March 20, 2025 at 9:28 PM
I know you don't. Only monsters would, and I don't think you are one.
And that's why I wrote my first post in this thread.
March 20, 2025 at 9:26 PM
What does 'voting for genocide' mean in your vocabulary?
I'm guessing we don't have the same definition, because to try to stop genocide, I would vote for the party more likely to follow the law, than the one that ignores court orders. Would I be successful? I don't know. But at least I'd try.
March 20, 2025 at 9:24 PM
I get that, and I even understand why they/you felt urged to not vote for Harris. I truly do, and I guarantee you, I would feel that urge too.
But single issue voting is a recipe for disaster, regardless of what issue it is.
In order to avoid getting the bad, you end up getting the worst.
March 20, 2025 at 9:21 PM
I guess you're ignoring that that same genocide is being aggravated, and in other parts of the world other genocides are being sanctioned by the current administration.

But hey, whatever floats your bubble.
March 20, 2025 at 9:19 PM
I don't know exactly how, to be fair. I'm not American, nor do I know exactly every avenue to pressure your government.
I do know putting in charge someone who was previously known to be even worse to the Palestinian cause wouldn't help, not the Palestinians and not everyone else.
March 20, 2025 at 9:17 PM
Yes, I do.
Did it stop?
March 20, 2025 at 9:10 PM
If you, or them, think now it is better, I can't help you either.
March 20, 2025 at 9:08 PM
I agree. Dems were awful addressing the matter and should have done better. And more, they should pay for that mistake.
My question is: Should we all?
Punish them in ways that don't make things worse, like what is happening. Palestine, Ukraine, these are just the beginning. It's gonna get much worse
March 20, 2025 at 9:07 PM
What, I hit a sore spot? No proper argument, so 'fuck you' is all you've got?

Sleep well, knowing you didn't vote for someone who was never POTUS because the former POTUS did one thing you didn't like, ignoring the POTUS you helped elect is doing even worse and killing even more.

Sweet dreams...
March 20, 2025 at 8:57 PM
Didn't I?
I just refuse to stuck my head in the sand and pretend no other issue exists so I can claim a moral high ground when all around the world your actions are being translated into more killings, even in Palestine.
But hey, fuck it, at least you didn't vote for the laughing lady, right?
March 20, 2025 at 8:52 PM
Keep pressuring.
Giving up by letting Trump win 1 Was never gonna help them (remember who changed the embassy location?) and 2 Is fucking up the whole world.

How many more will die because you opted out of weighing how much it would cost? How many more Ukrainians and Palestinians will die now?
March 20, 2025 at 8:43 PM
How will fucking up the US help Palestinians? Is a new resort in Gaza going to help them?
Put pressure on your government to do the right thing and help Palestinians, but don't pretend having Trump in power is the same for them or for anyone else.
March 20, 2025 at 6:18 PM
Now where have we seen laws like that?
March 20, 2025 at 5:18 PM
I don't consider it a guilty pleasure to be honest.
It's good music from talented artists. I feel no guilt whatsoever.
March 20, 2025 at 5:13 PM
On that one issue, yeah, little difference would it make (but some anyway).
But life isn't just about one issue, is it?
March 20, 2025 at 5:11 PM
Yeah, they didn't love those too.
March 19, 2025 at 10:14 PM
The US is heading to hell in a handbasket... And with it, the whole world, save for a couple of countries that are loving this.
I don't see a way out of this in the next few decades at least, and that is scary.
March 19, 2025 at 10:12 PM
I'm guessing democrats who didn't vote for Kamala because Biden administration helped Israel are feeling like chumps right about now...
Hey, but at least Trump's resort in Gaza will be enjoyed by the rich, right?
