you might think it goes back to citizens united. or maybe even the dulles brothers. go further, to the revolution.

america was the texas of britain. the ungovernable. and we have long prided ourselves on those genes. but we are finally seeing that payment is due when the global dynamics change.

We sunset our offering due to integration costs, but our customers utilized our AI agent. It would automate calls/texts to semi drivers, provide shipment details, and escalate to humans when things went sideways. LoadPartner Lasso was the product. We are building it into a larger product (TMS)

It is a vision that doesn’t contemplate wisdom or transformative change through experience. It instead sells “knowledge” as a cheap imitation of these, at the expense of insights and self-actualization.

Wow, what a devastating loss. Glad your family is safe and that luck had you home with them. We may not know each other, but this hits home as I think about being in that situation with my wife+1.5 year old. Thinking of you and others out there.

These tasks are normally handled by higher paid humans, so customers gain efficiency and savings. It is highly profitable for AI companies, as voice is charged per minute at 2-4x cost. Happy to share details if you’re still skeptical.

Lots of use cases, especially vertical specific. Triaging inbound communications from drivers in freight is an example.

I mostly agree, but the grieving and whining is mainly on Mastodon. What I have seen here so far is a group far more diverse and capable of multiple topics, not the singular “fml” feeling that became Mastodon.
