Upon visiting 🇺🇸 over the summer after 5 years in 🇮🇹 I couldn’t get over how loud everything in the city was. Half the time you can’t have a conversation on the sidewalk.

These wimps from Dixie are terrified of a Midwestern winter. Real tough 🥶

FlyDubai order says a lot about the MAX and -10.

Back in 2017-2020 I heard way too many officials and people say "why invest in public transit? We're going to have self-driving cars soon".

Me: 🤪

My $.02 is Trump’s coalition is miraculous and once he kicks the bucket each faction (religious, nativist, xenophobe, techie, business) is going to scramble for dominance and none will catch the same lightning in a bottle. I can’t believe it’s worked and it’s gonna be a mess when it unravels.

But substance is boring 🤪

I love this building. Is the administration full of *gasp* brick painters? Monsters!

Sounds like the author is spending 5 paragraphs writing "we're doomed. This guy will never come around" and everyone In Italy and Europe needs to heed this message.

Probably, but I’ve found most “establishment” Italians don’t fully understand Trump. They think he’s Berlusconi: a goofy, sex ridden, corrupt, populist who was embarrassing but didn’t change their lives. This regime is way worse, but that nuance is hard to convey.
November 16, 2025 at 11:14 AM
“Trump could break the spell”??? Ha! Who after all this time could ever believe that? All the regime cares about is themselves. They’d sell out the entire 🇺🇸 for a shiny silver dollar and private 747-8.

As a progressive Bluesky millennial I wholeheartedly support “do the crime, do the time” no matter who is implicated.

Time for an emergency podcast with @mikeduncan.bsky.social and a normie host to marvel at the scope of it all.

Some of the best aspects of UK city planning are the protected greenspaces and public footpaths very near to towns and cities. In our town of 100,000 we could walk out our front door and within 10 minutes be in real nature; this could never happen in USA.

It'd be a real shame to lose that.

That's a lot of faith to put in a fundraising flyer. I've always been surprised a scientist would put so much faith into something something so flippant. I know, it's just a movie.

I want to pair the last coat with my grandpa's old fedora but I think it might be a little too much.

Right, 10:04. But a lightning strike just lasts a second and there are 60 seconds between 10:04 and 10:05.

How did Doc and Marty know exactly which second the lightning would strike the clock tower?
November 12, 2025 at 3:14 PM
Just scrap the darn thing. Fixing it isn’t going to magically solve traffic jams at interstate level, parks, and affordable housing. Look how much demand there is for valuable land.
