It is truly weird working for a large corporation and they have a meeting talking about how the business is doing. And they are spending 15+ minutes talking about the C-suite execs families and vacations?! I’m sorry…how does that make me understand the business more? How does that explain my salary?

How do you all handle the need for rest in winter, but also wanting to be productive to end out the year?

I think people don’t realize how much the powers that be want us to pretend this pandemic isn’t a big deal. So they take any chance they can to send that message.

Being a nurse practitioner, or working in healthcare, during the holidays can be hard. This is the time of year I end up having a lot more of the conversations with lonely patients who struggle with depression and just want someone to talk to. Sometimes that’s all they really need ❤️
