So do you think the judge will bring in the foreperson to ask if the GJ actually voted on the two count indictment? Bc even what they said in the transcript is vague as to whether they actually took a vote on just the two count indictment. Or will they just accept it as a clerical error?

Relax dude, I was asking a question. That’s apparently my bad, I was under the assumption there was still a judge present during GJ proceedings for purposes of legal questions from jurors and to prevent things like this, as opposed to only when they’re sworn in/after an indictment is returned.

So do judges just not say anything when prosecutors misrepresent the law/imply the 5th amendment isn’t a thing to grand jurors? I get there’s no defense to formally object but that feels like the kind of thing a judge should go ahead and interject on.

I think part of it is a sort of cultural obsession with being “tough/strong,” mixed with how some places are so segregated it makes it easy to turn different groups into the “other.” Especially when you have a bunch of rich ppl fanning those flames so they can keep getting richer w no repercussions.
