In Rand Pauls case I believe he legitimately is independent. He's just had more ideals that are closer alined with the right. I think that may be changing, & democrats would be wise to see what they can agree on. I don't agree w/ him on much, but we NEED more centrists & independents in government

PLUS now if the vote on extending the cuts doesn't actually happen; it's clearly ALL on the GOP w/ the added proff that they can't be trusted to follow through on anything.

This is why opening was the right thing to do. Dems won. They held out long enough for all to see Trump doesn't care, see just how high the premiums are going up, & to win elections.

Side note- I'm all for taking away the huge payments to health insurance profits but there needs to be another option to payfor healthcare. People don't want the government involved SAME, so insist on the whole thing going nonprofit.

Obama care may rank up there with worst health payment platforms in the developed world BUT it's better than what we had before that!
