The National Pancreatic Cancer Audit (NPaCA) is part of the National Cancer Audit Collaborating Centre (NATCAN).

The aim of the NPaCA is to evaluate the patterns of care and outcomes for patients with pancreatic cancer in England and Wales.

Surgery to remove the #pancreaticcancer tumour is an essential treatment for a potentially cure. The most common surgery for treating pancreatic cancer involves removing parts of the pancreas, bile duct and the small intestine; known as a ‘Whipple procedure’. Find out more: bit.ly/43N5DZe #PCAM 💜

Pancreatic Cancer is one of the less survivable cancers and has arguably the worst outcomes of all solid tumour cancers. In the UK, about 10,500 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer each year. @natcan-news.bsky.social @pancreaticcanuk.bsky.social #PancreaticCancerAwarenessMonth #PCAM
