Yeah, it’s an imperfect term for compulsive behaviors like video gaming, gambling and sex. But for the people who are dealing with the fallout, it often looks really similar, (their loved ones do it often enough, even when they would like to stop) that it has a negative impact, so it sticks.

I’m a big fan of Mel Gibson’s work, especially Mad Max. I’m also a big believer in second chances, that people are not the worst thing they ever did. But this is very stinky, procedurally.
