This is a comic set in an alternate universe where my characters, Charlie and Thierry from Avarice Is My Darling's Vice, are not weird "secret friends" but instead beloved childhood besties. Aisha (in this AU she has different hair) asks the two of them: So like. Can I count on either of you to volunteer for fashion week? Charlie and Thierry also sport different looks in this universe. Charlie and his family peek out the kitchen window to see a black car driving past their house slowly. Charlie sees Thierry in the backseat. Oh... Charlie: ... I gotta go. I have a school thing. Charlie's mom: What? Charlie leaves quickly, bounding down the stairs. Charlie: BYE!! Charlie hops his way towards Thierry's car. It's freaking raining... Thierry: Oh! There he is! I was texting you but you didn't reply. Charlie: You're kind of early... Charlie's family is watching from the window still. Charlie's cousin: Did he just get into that car? Charlie's mom: ... After Charlie gets into the car, Thierry's car drives away. Thierry: I don't think I've ever been in this neighbourhood before. So that was your house, huh? As Charlie settles into his seat, he nervously begins to talk to Thierry. Charlie: Look. Uh, about the other day. I'm... sorry. A tense moment is shared between the two. Charlie puts on his seatbelt. Thierry: OHH!! He slaps his forehead. Thierry: You mean when you told me to f*ck off! Haha! Well that's what real friends do, right? Charlie looks at Thierry, trying to read the other's expression.
