Perhaps, after all, romance did not…

If you must run,
If you must run, run to me.

When feeling trapped, I’ll set you free.
My soul, my heart, are yours to keep.
Your love is all I need.

This, our shared pain, our shared victory,
When we conquer together.

When you run, run to me. …
– from More Than Only, a film.

“That was … “

I saw her on the road one day.
We passed each other without even looking.
But for me,
That was like the world turning upside down.

I’ve been there many times since then,
but I never saw her again.

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time
- T.S. Eliot

This resonates with me in a sense. Looking back on my life, I think I’ve always tried to find out what I am. I am still on the way.

Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they cover everything with glistening fine diamonds.

“I don’t know anything with certainty, but seeing the stars makes me dream,” says Vincent Van Gogh.

He also says,
“The sight of the stars always make me dream.
Be clearly aware of the stars and infinity on high. Then life seems almost enchanted after all.”

Starry nights always make me happy.

Every day we should hear at least one little song, read one good poem, see one exquisite picture, and, if possible, speak a few sensible words. - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Night time visitors to my house. The string of neat dots are of a fox and the messy ones are of raccoon dogs.
This is something I like living in a forest.

Write hard and clear about what hurts.
So Ernest Hemingway says.

I find it right myself. Writing helps me clear my mind and puts my thoughts together to have them make sense to me.
Writing, once you get used to it, would be enjoyable.

These are my favorite kinds. I wish I could have a side view. They are too tiny about only a few millimeters high.

When we lose someone we love,

we must learn not to live without them,

but to live with the love they left behind.

The first snow of winter is falling in my neighborhood today. As I watch the flakes drift down, my mind goes back to my childhood. We would make multiple snowmen throughout the season.
Yet over the years, I've watched those snowy winters gradually fade away. I miss them.

“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the light and made the day worth living.” So said F. Scott Fitzgerald and to me, #mosses and #lichens do the same.

"Between every two pines is a doorway to a new world.”
- John Muir

Walking in the nearby forest watching #mosses and #ferns is my favorite thing to do. The air feels very different there from the air outside. It clears my mind and brings me back to the core of myself.

The #mosses and #lichens of the day. They seem to have grown in the past two weeks of winter holidays.

I found this small bunch of #moss with a leaf of fern(?) popping up at the center.
I was charmed by the beautirul color of fresh, vivid green.
This place is where I usually walk by and the mosses seemed to have grown longer. Do mosses grow in winter?

Starting my day by listening to music is my habit.
Rod Stewart, David Garrett, Rondo Veneziano, and Yo-Yo Ma are among my favorites. These artists lift my spirit and fill my world with joy.

Music gives soul to the universe. - Plato

I don’t like being cold but every view of glistening frost makes me happy.
