This is bullshit, anti-scientific fearmongering. While there are absolutely legitimate concerns about over- and inappropriate prescribing, reporting on them by breathlessly counting the number of medications that people are prescribed is ridiculous.

I had the opportunity of working in consultation with Dr.Guzman while he was training as a fellow at Columbia. He always stood out as a compassionate clinician and willing to go the extra mile for his patients.

Definitely depends on tertiary vs community program training. Currently training at 350+ bed community hospital and most of us are getting into double digits for procedures by second year.

Skeet is slightly misleading, if we are going by only this meta analysis that data in favor of SGLT2i’s is pretty impressive. But I would be hard pressed to mention GLP-1 agonists in the same vein just of the data presented in this meta analysis.
