If you honestly can't tell if poor vocal is due to exhaustion or a lack of talent, don't feel bad. Tone deafness is a dominant trait in genetics, so no one will blame you if you can't tell the difference.

And don't say "but they train for this!!1!" This dehumanizing phrase only compares these idols to livestock. They're forced through grueling training, sometimes WHEN THEY'RE STILL CHILDREN, for little food or sleep, and sometimes little pay. Let them have bad performances. They are still growing.
