The entire enemy sprite, no matter what part of it you collide with, WILL hurt you. (And likely for 2 hearts of damage.) You do not get the same consideration for what should and should not be a hitbox. The effort was put in AGAINST you, but not FOR you. 90% of the damage I take is due to this.

They went through the time and effort to code in different hurtboxes for enemy sprites, easiest example is helmets. You hit an enemy with a helmet and damage will not occur. Like, yeah, that makes some sense.
But does it work in the opposite direction? Does the player get the same courtesy?
No.
