I’m so glad it’s not just me! LOVE a good greengage, bought some last week and they’ve been really disappointing (and done nothing to help me convince my husband that they aren’t just ‘unripe plums’!)

Also, number 4: how long do you stay packed for an imaginary journey? Do you have to imagine the homecoming before you can unpack? (Feels like a brilliant way to practice some creativity. Might try it sometime.)

My personal favourite little known fact about you is that your favourite spider is the Australian funnel web, or at least it used to be 😊🕷️🕸️.

Glad to know that I was in such good company cancelling my account in that place last night! Felt sad though - it did use to be a much better place ☹️

We’ve gone Labour for only the second time ever (and the last time was 1945.). And just 350 votes in it.

There is of course a great and noble tradition of bell ringing at moments of great historical importance or celebration. I really do hope BJ doesn’t get disturbed from his sleep at, say, around 2am in the morning of Friday 5 July ‘cos that would be ever so unfortunate.

In fact, isn’t that effectively bet rigging … because by placing that bet he effectively guaranteed that he’d be suspended and therefore presumably also guaranteed that Labour wouldn’t win the seat thereby guaranteeing that he’d win the bet … ????? 😵‍💫

News from the frontline of the election where politics finally eats itself … 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ok, so here in the Midlands … NOTHING. All veg plants have been sulking for weeks (and not sulking then dying.) Beans, courgettes, brassicas, root veg, the lot. Fruit way behind, tiny and unripe. Not just me - it’s the talk of the village. Might move to Scotland at this rate.

Here in rural Derbyshire where the Tories have reigned unchallenged for decades (if not longer) there isn’t a blue sign or poster to be seen anywhere. Not. A. One.

Ooh, I need to start planning. Have already cleared my diary for 5 July. Am currently thinking vegetable crisps and lots of cheese. And lots and lots of tea.
