I hit an end credits screen in Silksong today. Naturally I got the cursed ending first. Fighting that boss without healing was a fun challenge to figure out but I’m glad I powered through. Might take a break to play something else before I attempt to explore more of the game.

This is one of the oldest photos of me playing my first bass (a Tanglewood Rebel 4K). The headstock was a weird triangle shape, the body was really small, the action was way too high. That being said, it sure got me going. Still entirely self-taught to this day but learning new things all the time.

I never know how to word posts like this, so it'll be a bit of a stream of consciousness, but I wanted to provide an update now l've had time to process some emotions. Nan passed away just over a week ago. She hadn't been very well for a while so this was somewhat expected. However, nothing can prepare you for when it actually happens. My sincerest thanks to anyone who reached out directly. It genuinely helped a lot. I'll be saying final goodbyes with the rest of the family in a few weeks. Take this as a reminder to savour the time you spend with those you love.
