Got this in Hot Springs last year, but don't think I ever listened to it. Those I was excited about are the standouts. Psychic TV, Dinosaur Jr., and Nick Cave cover the classics, but the real star is Sonic Youth's take on a hidden gem from the underappreciated Trans album was the big treat for me.

So when I tell people how to get to my house, I say go left at the arrow, what a surprise to see that same arrow (with different lettering) on an album cover from 1979! Tried to identify the building in the foreground (it’s a church parking lot now 🙄). Really fun album too as a bonus!

Laura Jane Grace was just making comments on her Patreon that sounded negative about this album, so I just wanted to show it some love. And continue to post pictures of my cat.

This record is fantastic, from frank breakdowns of the witch trials to graphic descriptions of orgies, it’s played pretty straight, with just a few winks and witty remarks peppered in. And the insert is filled with amazing pictures.

So I say to my wife, what would you like to do Sunday morning? She goes to the dollar section of my store and says
"THIS!"
Neither of us know much German, so it kind of all just sounds like hitler, but apparently he's hilarious.
