Listening to The Path to Paradise and every time the narrator says “Warner Bros” – as “Bros” not “Brothers” – I involuntary twitch. Same for when he says THX “eleven-thirty-eight,” instead of “one-one-three-eight.”

Watched MISSING (1982, Dir. Costa-Gavras) on TCM yesterday starring Sissy Spacek and Jack Lemmon. Jack Lemmon always delivers and there are a handful of his scenes where my jaw hung open in awe.

Watched William Friedkin’s To Live and Die in L.A. last night (thanks @kanopy.com!). I always loved that he did the best car chase of the 70s (French Connection), 80s (To Live & Die), and 90s (Ronin). Speaking of the 80s, those were somethin’ else, huh?
