I run Man-o-War in one of my commander decks, and the version I use is VIS in Korean. It's so good.

the Possessed cycle feels very Richard, honestly.

You probably want to delay gaining control of the creature until the end step, otherwise it can just yank stuff out of combat. It makes the formatting awkward though.

I regret to inform you that it's significantly worse than that.

... But honestly, I don't blame you for remembering it that way; that's so valid.

Interesting. I get that it could treat the original as the canonical version, and maybe spit out Chun-Li instead of Zethi unless I searched Zethi|SLX, but I'm surprised that they're treated as different enough cards that the system went "well there's two results, no way to know."

Anyway, thanks!

I could only think of the protection cycle, but after looking on scryfall I think it's "gold cards with one element from M and one from N", like Recoil being a bounce (U) and a discard (B).

This is great! There's some weird behavior where the "oldest" version in a set is often but not always some borderless/extended print - is that intentional? I would think the default main set print should count as oldest (if nothing else, same release date but lower CN).

Hazy Homunculus was obsolete on arrival; Metathran Soldier was printed a year prior.

If you want to further accommodate your cat, I have an idea: They make microwaveable heating things for kittens, you could warm it up before you leave and then tuck it under the cat bed to stay warm a few hours. Look up SnuggleSafe for an example.

would that be your wife?

Oh, fair enough. Moggwarts is a Goblin-based combo deck in Pauper focused on the interaction between Putrid Goblin and the card First Day of Class.

Nice! Were you playing Moggwarts or a different deck?

Feels a little like cheating to post your custom version of it with double stats :D

"Heaven's Overrated" has slowly been taking over more and more of my brain. A+ work.

If it helps, I saw your card choices and thought "looks like Krenko". :D

That commander can draw a lot of attention, though, just based on going exponential across a couple turns. Be ready for some aggro.

... will you be using your Ork voice for them?

Split by color (WUBRGMCL), subsplit by type (creatures, noncreature permanents, Instant, Sorcery), alphabetical within that. Takes some work every couple years to recompile, but I can find if I have something VERY quickly.

Rares/Mythics separate from commons/uncommons but with the same order.

However, we might be getting Noggles next year :D

a) thank you for the reminder, b) as soon as bc lets me sign in, I'm grabbing Freezepop's latest album. Haven't decided on any others yet but maybe I'll wander the lists.

Does it have a good correction for Nymphomation too?
July 28, 2025 at 12:14 AM
Reasonable guess, but it's Taurean Mauler. Canopy Spider is the runner-up if you only count ones that say "Spider" on them.
