I'll never stop being amazed that Nova Scotia elected a guy (twice) whose job it was to help these people avoid paying taxes. To be fair, most ppl probably don't even know, since our media never mentions it. #ParadisePapers

No way. Surely Sobeys and Superstore learned their lesson when they had to pay the largest legal penalty in Canadian history for their bread price fixing scheme. Surely Premier Tim Houston (their neighbor/tennant) would stand up for Nova Scotians as part of his affordability pledge.

Tired of our leaders claiming unprecedented powers and branding it as "nation building" or a "special planning area" as an attempt to add a thin vineer of legitimacy to their plundering.

NS is one of the easiest places in North America to exploit. The Old Boys Club knows Nova Scotians are peasant-brained & will applaud anything that claims to bring "jobs jobs jobs", even if it means The Old Boys giving themselves authoritarian powers. No coincidence NB is ruled by oligarchs too.
