Presented my paper at CHI’25 on understanding software developers’ perspectives of autonomy, competence, and relatedness.

In summary, changing tools to support these needs are likely quicker than making systematic changes.

Nai-yu is presenting her study that looks at mental wellbeing from the perspective of Taiwanese young adults. She found key differences between eastern and western perspectives towards mental health and using technologies for support. Full paper for details: dl.acm.org/doi/pdf/10.1...
