#DeathofaUnicorn was pretty solid. I’m kind of surprised it wasn’t weirder being an A24 flick and all. It’s far more of a standard creature feature, but a good time nonetheless.

I always try and take at least a few months off between writing books to recharge and refocus a bit. But damn does it feel good to get started on a new project every time. There’s that bit of self doubt or being unsure I even remember how to do it anymore, but it keeps coming back to me.

The Buffalo Hunter Hunter was excellent, no further criticism, no notes, just read it, listen to it, find anyway to inject it into your brain. @sgj.bsky.social continues to find ways of outdoing himself. It’s a story that will stick with me, finding ways to influence my own work for decades.

Saw #Locked tonight, it was a solid thriller. Good to see Anthony Hopkins still killing it in his twilight years. Bill Skarsgaard put in a great performance himself and the two certainly carry the film.

I finally finished #BaldursGate3 this evening. What a fantastic RPG, @larianstudios.com absolutely nailed it and showed everyone how it’s done. The versatility in the game is almost unmatched. I look forward to whatever they cook up next.

The #49ers got bled dry in this free agency round. Greenlaw and Hufanga hurt… It’s hard to see how the team is going to be better next season right now. Here’s hoping they draft well this year.

I’ve been incredibly disappointed with the #PS5Pro. After being initially impressed with the improvements to #FF7Rebirth I was hit with the abrupt ugliness of #SilentHill2 and sub-par improvements of #AlanWake2. What did I really pay $700 for? Anyway, back to #PCGaming I go again for now.
