I have longed to hear Sayaka Shoji play Schumann's Violin Concerto in a concert hall for the past 25 years. At last, yesterday, I got to listen to her perform Schumann's Concerto at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre. It was an amazing experience that exceeded my expectations.
