A personal update
A block of text that reads: My mom had a major surgery on Tuesday and came home Wednesday. She was perfectly fine, and other than her rolling out of her bed and needing some help to get back in, nothing was wrong. I remember even playing around to make her laugh and tucking her in under the covers like she was a child. Her voice was quiet when she whispered good night to me, and I brushed her hair back from her forehead and kissed her on the head. The next day I woke up to find out she had died during the night. Right now it’s just me and my sibling at home, and we’ve got some of my sibling’s friends who came over to bring some food. The house has never felt this quiet before, and I don’t think I’ve stopped crying since. It’s been almost 24 hours since I found her, and it’s kind of crazy trying to wrap my head around it. The paramedics told us she was gone and I still remember hearing my sibling’s voice crying and saying that she was still warm I guess what I’m trying to do with this post is just me going to an outlet and shouting “IM HURTING!!! IM HURTING AND IM NOT GOING TO BE OKAY”
