This one came with a big revelation that shook up everyone's day!
WIPSNIPS May 2nd "Over" Someone dropped a fork. John could hear as it clicked against a plate. Someone else, he thought it was Edward, cursed under his breath. Unable to stand the silence, John pushed back his chair. He stood up, not meeting anyone's eyes as he headed to the door. There were murmurs at the table behind him, but nothing was audible over the blood pumping in his ears. He grabbed his hat, placed it on his head, and walked out the front door. WIPSNIPS May 1st Cup Grabbing a large bowl, I began picking big pieces up from the sink. Each chunk I handled carefully, knowing that all of these pieces were sharp. The last thing I wanted to deal with was blood everywhere. I jinxed myself as I picked up a piece of cup and sliced my finger. Shadow Warrior

This one takes place when a MC is out riding and gets attacked by a Feral.
WIPSNIPS April 30th "Explode" A Feral exploded out of the bush in front of my horse. The mare reared up on her back legs and came down, her hooves crashing into the Feral's chest. There was a sharp crack as the ribs broke. I grabbed into the saddle horn, holding on as the horse leaped to the side. Her hooves flung blood, spattering the ground around us. The mare bucked once and took off, headed for the village. I wrapped one hand in the mare's mare, letting her find her way back. Her instincts to avoid the Ferals would be better than mine. WIPSNIPS April 28th Talk "Thanks, I needed a shirt with your drool on it." I ran my fingers through her forelock and subconsciously began braiding. The mare stood there, continuing to flick her frothy grass lips over my shirt as I braided. I continued down her mane, creating small braids as I talked softly to her. My favorite animal is wolves and yet the only mention in my two WIPs is the name of the town 😅 . I mean, I guess I did name the town after them so 🤷‍♀️
WIPSNIPS April 25th Wolf "I ain't with the Marshals, miss, just a bounty hunter. Took a girl from Wolf Creek, followed them to here," John said. In a way he semi-lied. It was the Marshals that had assigned him to become a bounty hunter in the first place. "They went South. I'm assuming they are headed towards Clearvale. From my Shadow Warrior series, the main character is seeing a Feral outside the wall of town. I think I misspelled "grabbed," oops!
WIPSNIPS April 23rd "Click" I walked over and peered below. Two Feraks with large eyes stared up at us. One of them began their awful clicking noise. I glanced back up at the guard and nodded. They jabbed a cross bow and aimed it below as another guard rang a bell. Bells all across town rang, signaling Ferals outside the wall. Shadow Warrior

WIPSNIPS April 21st "Move" Brant leaned over Patch. He grabbed Patch's hand with one of his own, and the other he lifted the knife to Patch's thumb.
