Got this enormous Sony KV-30HS420 today with help from @itst3k.bsky.social. Weighs over 150 lbs but it's 1080i HD & has an HDMI port which is weird to see on a CRT TV. The picture is absolutely beautiful in person. So crisp, but so difficult to photograph. Worth over $900 but got it for super cheap.

visited the Museum of Science this afternoon, unknowingly on the opening day of their brand new bathroom facilities, which have got to be the best public bathroom I’ve ever seen. Completely gender neutral, full rooms for each toilet, free feminine products, and hand dryer or paper towels. Amazing!

met this adorable irish wolfhound who i gave head pets who then proceeded to sit down, then lay down, and eventually roll over and want belly rubs, then after that kept following me around for a bit while the owner talked to one of my friends. what a good girl :3

@techconnectify.bsky.social this is right up your alley and might be worth a video. This is a GE AWGP08WWF and this is one of the VERY few window heat pumps just starting to enter the market, intending to be an affordable and easy to install alternative to mini splits, esp for apartment dwellers.

Why would I install an air conditioner in a basement window in late October? This is no ordinary air conditioner as it actually is also a heat pump, and I am very excited to be able to heat my basement computer room way more efficiently than the resistive heat I used for years...

Weird electrical device that feels rather out of place, but...
American influence on Saudi Arabia led to them adopting US electrical standards. At one point they decided to align with the rest of Europe and chose British plugs. These were created to allow easy retrofits. Made by Leviton.

Had an amazing weekend with the #Furcationland family for a staff outing to Six Flags New England for a whole day of fun, then had dinner at Theodore’s Booze, Blues, & BBQ in Springfield.
Wicked Cyclone is now my favorite roller coaster, and the vibe at dinner was spectacular with live blues music.

Had an amazing weekend with the #Furcationland family for a staff outing to Six Flags New England for a whole day of fun, then had dinner at Theodore’s Booze, Blues, & BBQ in Springfield.
Wicked Cyclone is now my favorite roller coaster, and the vibe at dinner was spectacular with live blues music.
