I teach US History at the high school level and I see this developing in real time every day. It’s very sad. So many students are not able to read above a 5th grade level. They are failing EOC tests in History not because they don’t know History, but because they can’t understand the questions…

I’ll tell you what’s not on their horizon: improving conditions for the working class. Every single time Biden or Harris claim the economy is doing well, I throw up in my fucking mouth. I’m glad Wall Street is doing well, but uhh—Mr. President, I’d like to buy a house in my lifetime.
