Actually you’re right, that is also a great intro to the game. I like the idea of the choose your path game as it drops you right in the action.

I love a starter set, for sure, and I hadn’t considered how difficult it must be to do. Simon, is there a starter set you have or have seen, which you consider to be the gold standard?

I mean, there can’t be many people with more experience given your prolific attendance and participation record. It might also be worth noting that you have come up with a system in the Code games that is particularly suited to running con games rather than running other people’s games (as a rule).

Simon, I love these train of thought posts of yours. Just wanted to say that

I am in the habit of recording the majority of my sessions as we play using Discord so it’s a doddle to record. I then do minimal editing by chopping off most of the chat, stick a theme song on it and an image and then stick it on my YouTube channel and have a playlist for each campaign

I’m not sure it matters. I just kind of plod along running and playing in games all through the year with the same group of people and don’t really engage much with the wider community. That said, it is nice to know there are others out there doing the same thing

If it’s any consolation, if I was at Dragonmeet I’d have signed up for both as I’m excited for Code of Cthulhu and i thoroughly enjoyed playing in your code of the spaceplanes Star Trek game at Dragonmeet a few years back.

Hey Simon. That’s my YouTube channel. We’ve been having a great time playing through all of the material published for Golden Heroes. We’ve tackled Crossfire from the Supervisors Book, Legacy of Eagles and Strikeback from White Dwarf so far.

So Code of the Old West, followed by Code of Adventure/Code of ??. Lots to look forward to but I hope Code Of Cthulhu works out because that sounds great

I’m down for spoilers

And also, does this mean we might expect a pulp era version at some point? It would seem to be a good fit for this rule system

This sounds like a very exciting addition to The Code line, any estimate on a release date?

Looks interesting. I’ll pick one of these up and take a look

I’ve been here for a bit but just beginning to look at it more regularly as a lot of friends have begun popping up here. I hope you are well.
