Pretty much! I rarely buy a AAA game that is less than like 2 years old, if at all anymore. Indie games are where it's at. People make whatever wild stuff they want without a suit breathing down their neck about marketability AND they don't charge 80usd! It's great all around

For my own social circle, I think the last "huge" thing was Elden Ring? Before that AC:NH bc it was covid and we were all depressed. And before that... Breath of the Wild? So like 3 whole AAA games in the last eight years.

From what I hear from coder friends, it's usually *you* who is correcting the AI's code. So not sure that that would be a reasonable use case either.

For real, people forget their own youth so fast. Like the 6-7 joke is no different from me and my friends shouting the soulja boy "YOUUUUUUU" to each other when we were teens. "What's the joke?" "Nothing, it's just funny." That's it. Leave the kids be, they're fine.
