Listen. It can feel better to throw a stone that contains mocking content that has homophobia, etc in it because they do, but it hits harder when it doesn’t. Trust. You don’t have to throw the same back. You can make it better. Just consider less disappointing material in the future is all.

Idk, I try not to get angry because their head and heart are on the right side of things, it’s the nuance of harm in what they share that’s missing. Disappointment leaves more room for them to learn and grow and not push potential allies away, but that may come with undue optimism.

Posting homophobic content, even ironically, is still posting homophobic content. If you’re cool with that then you’re cool with that. It’s possible to hit back without bigotry, but you can make the choice to ignore that option, not going to try and change your mind here, just making a request.
