Christine Ranoelisoa holds her corn and bean seeds that she received from our growers program. She’s a mother of a preschooler at our partner school in Andranomena and very excited to participate. We’re just as thrilled to have her on our team as we address food insecurity. #ZeroHunger

School lunches during the hungry season is the flagship part of our program, but so much more goes into ensuring the children at our partner schools are properly nourished throughout the year. It’s truly a community effort.

Healthy food requires clean water! September is the driest month and the time when we maintain the wells at our partner schools (when the water table is low, the maintenance crew can climb down to do repairs).
September 28, 2025 at 6:18 PM
Our farmers are ready to begin planting in a few weeks. They will be doing their part to address the food insecurity that will arrive in their community in the coming months. Nourish Madagascar buys at least 10% of its produce from local growers.
