Love this city too. Toronto you're an amazing place, need to go see you more. We'll be back too see the Jays more next spring, this team is worth being there all the way through the years.

You couldn't have asked for a better story and love a better bunch of guys than this years Blue Jays. Our wins against the Dodgers were decisive. Their wins against us were barely scraped by.
They can have the trophy bc I know who really won this year: the fans getting to experience this season.

You couldn't have asked for a better story and love a better bunch of guys than this years Blue Jays. Our wins against the Dodgers were decisive. Their wins against us were barely scraped by.

Even just "mortals" works well, I think! "These rules all mortals must follow..." kinda vibe. I liked how LOTR used "free peoples" to refer to basically everyone but the orcs because the orcs were not free.
Could do something with "folk" or "kind" too. Lay folk, mortal kind, etc.

Don't forget to thank Doug Ford for scrapping a law meant to limit the cost of resells, the ability for scalper bots and make resellers have to provide identity etc

People talk about going to see their favourite artist in concert, or the way their fave album spoke to them in a dark time, and the most I can ever say is like... "Oh yeah I like this one a lot" or "I know all the lyrics to this one". A song has never made me cry or anything like that.
