No one who wants to see these positions is even amenable to voting blue to begin with, at least not in any numbers to make up for the amount of the Dem's own base who will stay home out of disgust. Kamala lost because 'safe' voters refused to vote for the lesser evil, and it'll happen again.

Don't give an inch. If you start throwing your most loyal constituents under the bus to appease a tyrant, you'll get nothing but contempt from the Republicans and lose all faith and credibility from your own voters. The perception is that Dems cave before every fight; prove that wrong.
