There is a better way…
“In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment & counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back into a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.”
Finland ends homelessness and provides shelter for all in need - scoop.me
In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Why? The country applies the "Housing First" concept agains homelessness.

I know it’s just a wild conspiracy theory that #tRump is a Russian asset, but he’s sure making it believable by his very actions. Even @scaramucci.bsky.social thinks it may be true

A lesson for #Australia

Yes, there are complications given we're not part of Europe, heavily dependent on the US (more so than the UK), a resistance to being a part of Asia etc. However, while we could hold our breath for four years with TrumpOne, this TrumpTwo stuff is batshit crazy. Let's think

I’d always assumed that with Trump’s election in 2016 we were witnessing the end of the American empire. I also assumed that Biden’s election just slowed it down. These first four weeks of Trump’s new “reign” suggests it’s game-on again for the end, just faster than expected. Vale USA (hello China)

Anthony Albanese has called for fixed four year terms. Makes sense to me.
If you agree, RT.
Disagree, "like"?

I think it’s important in life to have always purchased (many) more punk/new wave (etc.) books than you have read. Just finished ‘Under a Rock’ by @chrisstein.bsky.social and currently reliving my almost ten years in Brisbane (‘73-‘82), through ‘Pig City’ by @andrewstafford.bsky.social
