This is terrible news even for those of us with access to some of the largest academic libraries in existence — who often still need to consult the Internet Archive to complete our research to as solid a standard as possible — let alone for anyone else.
1️⃣ The US Court of Appeals has ruled against the Internet Archive in a major copyright case, finding its book digitization project violated copyright laws. This decision raises concerns over the future of digital archives.
