I build towns near their nests now and fence them in. Easy eggs. But sometimes I just want a banana snack on the go while I'm out working late.

I honestly prefer when there are ads interrupting things my daughter watches. Combined with her not having the remote to fast forward or pause through boring parts, I think it helps with countering instant gratification. I mostly encourage her screentime to be interactive though (gamers gonna game).

The first time I played Radiant Dawn and got to Micaiah's line, "I'm going to save my people, Sothe. If the rest of the world paints me as a beast to be reviled and hated, so be it," pretty much sealed it as my favorite Fire Emblem game, regardless of some of the weaker elements of the game.

I like to minmax, but I also like to do what I want on the hardest difficulties. So I'm gonna ship who I'm gonna ship regardless of whether it makes the most tactical sense. Except when I need to fill out all of the support logs. Besides, naked Titania/Tauroneo works as a distraction in a pinch! ;)

Level caps are the bane of mandatory units. But for me, it's like the Ike/Azura suplex strength stat meme, but with Mist instead. HOWEVER, as much as I don't care for him personally, he's very good for/to Soren, whether it's as bros or lovers. So they always get their support. ALWAYS.

Yesss, I also like to try to limit using the Laguz Royals. And while I love Soren to bits...I don't like Ike (sorry!). Probably doesn't help that little Mist always ends up randomly stronger than her brother. But I can never not use my girls Nephenee, Ilyana and Mia. Zihark/Ilyana is always fun. <3

I had a terrible dream last night that the Kickstarter had apparently started without an e-mail going out, and all of the openings for getting a copy of the book with a sketch were sold out. I woke up very sad, then rolled over and went back to sleep. But I was very sad. The saddest. Briefly.

I just translated this into 5-year-old-speak. Will she remember this tomorrow? Doubtful. But she had fun giggling about a worm that lives in ocean rocks called sponges, hiding its one head and sticking its hundred butts out of holes and wiggling them in the water.

makes my ADHD brain happy, so it works well, and I don't have to worry about forgetting things. Husband, though, gets overwhelmed when things get broken up into many smaller tasks, but if he keeps it as one big task, then he procrastinates, so finding a good middle ground is important!

It's really true how different it can be for everybody. I think the age at which you're diagnosed changes things, too. I was diagnosed when I was 5-6. My husband wasn't diagnosed until a couple of years ago. I also have OCD, and one of my "compulsions" is writing lists. Crossing things off lists 1/2

It actually looks like they've cleaned up a lot since I was last there from the online photos. Looks MUCH better than it used to. Before, the kid clothes were all in garbage bags, and I'd have to sit and sort through them. They're all on racks now. They also have houseware stuff, too.

Also, there's a...uh...hoarder house(?) on the SW side of the lake that regularly gets in clothes. Def wash them twice for the smoke smell, but it's all .25. As bleah as Nextdoor can be, it might be worth it to sign up w/ your mom's address. You can search listings up to 50 miles away, and the north side of the lake has some wealthy neighborhoods (esp Mystic Shores) that give things away for cheap/free. Got a lot of nice toys for my kid that way.
