Progressive outlook, most
parties
like Labour, LibDem or Green etc. They're not working together, they're too soft yet over 83% of Commons. UK decline & social & economic decay compared to S.M. is a function of our distorted & divisive hate media.
Absolute common sense:unlikely to ever happen.Labour is like an old cart horse,a slow plodder. The Far Right use all the media, are cogent bold & quick. Lab & progressives spend the time squabbling over how left they are; are performative & so powerless. If Lab were smart Andy B would be on his way.

Well I think that means 1) England only country in Europe without some PR
2. But all UK has FPTP for General Elections
December 3, 2025 at 4:07 PM
By which I mean every story in the hate Mail is an 'attack'on Labour even giving C.B. to poorest families often hit by separation or chronic ill health or being a carer to a family member or being made redundant or too low paid to support kiddies. But for Mason, Rigby,Toriesberg journalism is attack
December 3, 2025 at 2:51 PM
Indeed Professor Danny Dorling ( Oxford) by 2023/4 confirmed UK 2nd most unequal & later confirmed most unequal society in Europe. You will not see that in most media & even soft Labour never used it.
December 3, 2025 at 2:41 PM
And for God sake tell the Daily Mail or its puppies Chris Mason or Beth Rigby to **** off. A little council tax increase on 2 Million pound houses which someone calculated may still in rich S.E. be less council tax than in some deprived Northern town. Softly, softly is not reaching working class.
December 3, 2025 at 8:18 AM
Sorry to go on but Andy got 63.4% of Greater Manchester mayoral election thats over 6 times more than Tory at 10%, Reform at 7.5% and LibDems at 1.1%
December 3, 2025 at 8:09 AM
But yes I know Labour does not go for power, media or narrative. It's so tied up in its self, wrangling over who is most leftist or procedures or playing victimhood. God sake be populist, fast moving, act like a predator,a leopard not an old elephant. Reform a vile Right Wing outfit have outsmarted you
December 3, 2025 at 8:02 AM
Andy Burnham is a populist, can talk like a leader, more gutsy & is King of North knows. He got massive 63.4% votes in Greater Manchester Tories got 10% others got far less than that, Andy gets both Lab voters & other voters too. Narrative, messaging is everything & Labour need that real big bounce!
December 3, 2025 at 7:49 AM
No its coming:2024 election gave Tory MPs there lowest numbers since 1830 yes 1830! Our ruling elites want the Reform & Tories together & with a new Tory leader inevitable. The vile media attacks on Labour have worked esp as Lab hopeless on narrative & media, allowing broadcasters be Daily Mail led
December 3, 2025 at 7:33 AM
Does not matter either way... its coming a much harder Right Wing government as our 82% of MPs from all our progressive parties have failed to make sufficient impact, act together, handle our vile RW media. Its a Daily Mail narrative not a progressive Britain one. Unlike all Europe we alone have FPTP
December 3, 2025 at 7:27 AM
Yes thats the way it will go Tories & Reform together running UK. You stop this by 1. reminding ppl what Lab are doing quicker health care, higher wages, better for kids, green growth agenda etc. Yes there's issues but the hostile Tory media lies every day 2) Getting populist Andy Burnham into power
December 3, 2025 at 7:19 AM
A government that does not sort out the gross misuse of its social media by foreign and extreme racist or neofascist actors is heading for 1933 Nazi like takeover without doubt.
December 3, 2025 at 6:33 AM
Let's not let off Right Wing BBC for enabling the appalling decay of modern UK by its Farage & Boris unbalanced Brexit coverage.
Given its obsession with platforming a party of just 0.06% of our elected MPs, Lab movement needs to get Lisa Nandy doing her job on BBC Far Right political distortion
December 2, 2025 at 12:35 PM
A big failure of modern UK is the failure of our 82% elected MPs ( progressives) to expose the sheer economic idiocy of Brexit to the working class likely to vote for Farage again. It needs repeating over & over again because it made UK far poorer compared to prosperous Europe.
December 2, 2025 at 12:27 PM
He was put there deliberately by Johnson's people as they knew he would be such a pushover of vile Daily Mail trash. So he is a tabliod front page chaser without any real grasp of the depths of modern political history or economics or power analysis. Mason performs just as the Right Wing elites want
December 2, 2025 at 6:12 AM
Daily Mail on legs bloke. Thick too. Can't read proper politics, no analysis,
no idea that politics is about the expression of power and influence. No grasp of modern history, politics, economics, sociology, of how politics serves particular interests. He's a perfect Daily Mail puppet on a string.
December 2, 2025 at 6:02 AM
Absolutely he's there because he suited the Johnson tribe.
December 2, 2025 at 5:56 AM
P.S. Working Class voters don't like weakling leaders. They like tough fighters like Carney,Sturgeon,Blair,Farage. Ask them about Ed Davey? Who? They want to see leaders lead not be like office managers. But BBC ignored our Prime Minister main speech on Monday. Quite
shocking biased news coverage.
December 2, 2025 at 5:54 AM
That will happen when Reform win.Lab movement are media weaklings & Sir Keir is too humble to the vile right wing press & TV mob. What Lab dont get is that England's elites are seething because last yr the Tory MP numbers were sent back to the year 1800 & 30. All media is being weaponised against Lab
December 2, 2025 at 5:47 AM
I heard nothing about that EU content or PMs defence of Budget helping poor Brits both at Lunch time & Tea time. BBC led on Rachel controversy. Imagine yrs ago a UK PM's speech would be largely ignored to just cover the froth. BBC failed & focused on what reporters asked. Lisa Nandy hides away!
December 2, 2025 at 5:39 AM
Because most BBC news staff cant get beyond the Daily Mail headlines as their are no teaching assistants to help them read beyond that daily crap. The BBC failed on why Covid worst deaths in Europe, failed on intelligent Brexit coverage & failed on UK 2nd highest inequality in Europe.
December 2, 2025 at 5:32 AM
Labour movement unfortunately remain largely powerless in semi feudal England because they never get the importance of media. The dominant BBC political narrative is just regurgitation of the Mail,Express or Telegraph very right wing narratives. Paradoxically when Reform win they're make it even more
December 2, 2025 at 5:25 AM
Nothing becomes Lab movement weakness than Lisa Nandy & her 400 MPs or 82% of MPs who are progressives allowing the decline of proper BBC political reporting. BBC news & politics is damaging all the BBC yet Lab have sat on their hands.Watch how fast Farage will change it. Lab are the media weaklings
December 2, 2025 at 5:17 AM
Listening to PM with Evan Davies is the most pathetic, underresearched & weakest news reporting ever encountered on BBC. Evan must read the Sun, Express and Mail look around for an assistant to help him read Guardian or FT or online Independent etc find no one & re-read the Sun. He is no journalist.
December 2, 2025 at 5:11 AM
He needs reading lessons so he can get beyond the Daily Mail front page.
