Tor and Brave are good options for what I heard, also for mobile if you want to use apps Hotspot shield is working for me.
But yeah if u want to use X don't forget to change your country in options

For now changing your location to US plus a free VPN (for me I'm using the one integrated with Opera GX) is working for me, but I have to shut it down after doing the doomscroll because it slowers everything.
If I don't do both it doesn't work
