Sunday morning cigar (late post ed.): Padilla Maduro. Yes, Padilla has a lower price point. It’s still a solid smoke and should be in your humidor for two reasons: 1. It’s a good filler cigar, and 2. It’s good to give to friends who really aren’t cigar smokers but continue to reach for your Padrons.

Saturday morning smoke: Rocky Patel No. 6; good cigar. While I find some RPs hit and miss, I haven’t had an issue with their No. 6. #cigarsky

Nubs are a good, solid cigar. Will they knock your socks off? Probably not. But they have good leaves, good construction, solid burn, and great flavor.
Plus, if you find the right distributor and wait until they’re on sale, you can get them for less than $4 a stick.
