I do a pull of all names, authors and folder/file sizes and throw that is a JSON file. I run an updater regularly.

And cross references it with a JSON file that has my existing folder/filenames, authors and sizes in it, which "tries" to pull up a potential duplicate, baring that lets me search the JSON myself, saves a lot of time.
