Everyone knows typical cancer side effects. We all know folks battling. What gets missed, is how much those WARRIORS miss out on. Not having energy to get outta bed, means missing events, graduations, parties, etc. It means passing on your favorite meal or cocktail because you'll likely poo yourself

travel, until now. So what did she and my stepdad do? They drove their camper to Houston and made a site seeing adventure out of this. My god she is such a warrior. She is my hero and I feel myself reduced to a 5 yr old, consumed with emotion, knowing that I must channel this energy positively.

She's tried several medications before radiation. Hell, she completed a medical trial for her specific cancer, which I'm told doesn't happen a lot, For numerous reasons. Her results will help others.
She's been traveling back and forth to Houston to be seen at MD Andersen. The trials covered her

She is STRENGTH. She was diagnosed during COVID. What a mess that was. She has had bowel obstructions, bowel evacuations, fatigue, loss of appetite, etc. She hasn't lost her hair but it has turned a brilliant platinum color, eyelashes and brows included. Her sense of humor is strong as ever.

She has a weird stomach cancer called GIST, gastrointestinal stromal tumors.
They're too vascular to remove.
