I deleted both my Twitter and my Threads accounts. There is too unhinged hate on those platforms for me to tolerate. In the absolute binary atmosphere, there was no room left for compromise or courtesy. If you’re still there trying to do good work, bless you.

Please help: My neighborhood is filled with people from all around the world and all sorts of backgrounds - people who will very much need allies in the coming days. As a middle-aged white guy with a pickup truck, I look like the enemy (MAGA-flage?). How do I show I’m on their side?
