Your premise is wrong - accepting a pardon is not an admission of guilt - but you’re onto something. A person who was pardoned could be called in front of a grand jury and forced to testify about others, because they can’t take the Fifth Amendment- they cannot incriminate themselves.

I was born in the USA. Both of my parents were naturalized citizens. If the government prevails in SCOTUS, then someone could challenge my citizenship by trying to find defects in my parents’ naturalization paperwork. So I take this case a little personally. I don’t think “crimes against humanity” is the correct term either. There is no such crime under US law. Crimes against humanity are prosecuted in international tribunals like the ICC or the Nuremberg tribunal, which isn’t an option here. This is just plain old murder.
