I don't have much going for me, but it's not nothing!

Quietly Ace™. Aspiring game dev. Avid supporter of video games as a storytelling medium, and all the ways it can explore unique concepts.

Not big on personal DMs, but feel free to DM about projects!
In the case of my game, it's a message that might arrive a little too late to meet the moment, but one that I think a lot of us needed to hear our whole lives.

"It's not that you can do anything if you try. It's that the things that you *can* do matter."

This doesn't mean the narrative itself should be simple, but that if someone were to boil it all down all your character arcs and the overall plot, they could reliably walk away with maybe a sentence or two that summed up what you were trying to say. Even FromSoft games, opaque as they are, do this.

....so as my lengthy inactivity on here might indicate, 2026 was probably optimistic. But as it happens, that ended up being a very good thing for the project's quality, and for myself on a personal level. Like I said, life can be strange. If my account ever explodes with activity, you'll know why!

That's probably it, actually. Sound files are huge, and Zelda will probably have a lot to say about the ruins of Hyrule. Though I do wonder how that'll compare to TotK having three characters to comment...

I sometimes wonder if I'm the only person who's played the Anniversary Collection, but lately I've seen posts like these and it gives me life. People deserve to know how sick that menu music was!

Honest to god didn't know you could even get an upgraded sword for the longest time. I gave up after finding like half the shells. Shame too, that sword plus the red tunic slaps.

Never did understand why a magnifying glass of all things was tucked away like some magnificent treasure. People all over the island wear glasses, so there's gotta be *somebody* who could just make one.

I would suggest it might have more to do with the equal credit opportunity act in 1974 that allowed women to have their own bank accounts without being married daily.jstor.org/a-bank-of-he...
A Bank of Her Own - JSTOR Daily
The first US bank for women was opened by a fraudster in 1879. It took 40 years for a reputable women’s bank to be founded in Tennessee.
