it even gave me hope that not everything is so bad, especially with the right turn happening in many countries

ilya's character is a whole other topic. as a queer person from eastern europe living in the west, i saw a lot of similarities with him. parents who are constantly disappointed and don't support him, and a society where you always have to hide your true self and stay on guard
