I'm sure I heard a journalist on The Media Show this week (think from MEN) say because they were regulated then their content on socials was also regulated, but the random people recording themselves at Piccadilly Gardens weren't. Why wouldn't this be the same?

Wouldn't labour want the two to merge? Then they can say to the reform minded voters you're going to get the same old tories you've always had, and to the tory minded voters you're going to get the reform crazies?
